Closety

Out of 10,000+ entries in the first Figma Makeathon, ours was the second most trending.

#2 of 10K+

What was wrong

You own plenty of clothes and still stand there deciding you have nothing to wear. And you have no idea what you actually reach for versus what just sits there.

What I made

Itai Lavi and I built it for the first Figma Makeathon. Photograph your closet, and it digitizes the wardrobe, suggests outfits, tells you what's missing, and shows your friends' daily fits. It also gives you the analytics: what you own, what you wear, which colors you keep buying.

The hard part

It's a prototype, so the hard part wasn't code. It was making a closet app feel like something you'd actually open on a Tuesday.

How it went

It finished #2 most trending out of more than 10,000 entries. I have a graphic design background I hadn't used in a while, and afterwards other designers reached out to say the work inspired them. That meant more than the ranking.

What came out of it

  • #2 most trending by engagement, out of 10,000+ participants in the first Figma Makeathon
